With over 20 years of software, engineering and product development experience, Dan Ohlemacher provides a unique set of skills that help businesses ‘bridge the gap’ between technology and marketing.
Mr. Ohlemacher is President and founder of AVALAR, an Internet development firm specializing in customized e-commerce and database intensive applications. Web sites developed by AVALAR feature a unique customized management utility that allow a ‘layperson’ to easily manage, maintain and update their web site content. AVALAR is the developer of MentorU.com, an online e-learning company of world-class business experts.
Mr. Ohlemacher also is Chief Technology Officer for InformINS, Inc., a business-to-business technology provider that enables the insurance industry with Internet based services.
He has created and developed numerous products for the personal computer industry including personal information managers, email systems, laser printers, fax/printer servers, and computer telephony software and hardware. Besides his technical expertise in the wide array of Internet Technologies, Mr. Ohlemacher has a portfolio of skills including MS Windows development, local area networks, application servers, PC peripherals, and embedded firmware design.
Prior to founding AVALAR, Mr. Ohlemacher was Technical Marketing Manager for Intel’s prestigious Intel Architecture Labs in Hillsboro Oregon. While at Intel, he managed the introduction of new Internet technologies to the software development community.
Mr. Ohlemacher received his Bachelor of Science in Engineering from the University of Colorado.
